Are you one of the true fans of The Fast and the Furious movie series who has seen all seven films including the lately released and high-earning Furious 7? Even if you have never seen the original movie (you’re missing out), this series of action-packed, car-centric films is widely known around the country, especially after the tragic passing of actor Paul Walker, who died in a car crash before the seventh movie was completed. Walker’s 1993 Toyota Supra is now heading to auction.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to own the orange street racer driven by Walker’s character, Brian O’Connor. The car starred in the original The Fast and The Furious movie, which was released in 2001.
The Supra was one of a few built specifically for the film and its daring stunts by movie prop master Eddie Paul and decorated by Modern Image of San Diego. It is equipped with a 3.0-liter straight-six engine, offering 230 horsepower; a five-speed manual transmission; and some major suspension to handle all the stunts we love to watch.
The car will be sold at the Mecum Auction in Indianapolis scheduled to take place May 12-17. If you are considering vying for a chance to become the new owner of the vehicle, you will need an estimated $150,000 to $200,000.
As for us at Toyota of Black Hills, we’ll probably stay here in Rapid City and continue to daydream about owning the famous ‘93 Supra.
